Eletricity consumption : 150 kw during non processing hours.

You have 250 KW Genset & 400 kW Genset. Which genset you will run?

The Cummins engine are encourage to run at above 70% of it capacity to maximize the power utilization. If we run 400 kW at comsumption 150 kW, the utilisation is only 38% compare 60% of 250 kW.

Fuel - diesel comsumption :-

250 kW : 38 litre per hour.
400 kW : 40 litre per hour.

saving of 5 % on every kW produce if we run 250 kW compare 400 kW.

if you run 20,000 litre per month, diesel price RM2.00 = RM40,000. 5 % mean, RM2,000.

it is your 4.8 months bonus for that year if your salary is RM5,000/month.

so manager, it is justify for you to ask for smaller engine from your bos!
