Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Management

• Prepare monthly Management Report to Top Management.
• Prepare Bi-Annual Report for BOD Meeting.
• Liaise with external parties such as refinery, estate managers & suppliers for matters related to operations.
• Daily Operational Updates to Top Management.
• A strong advocate for continuous improvements (to drive efficiency).
• Proficiency in palm oil production, transport of FFB & other products, palm oil milling.
• Hands-on experience in working with a various level of staff (influence staff to work together).

Mill Operation

• To ensure flow-down of Company's directions and decisions for operation.
• To supervise mill operation and be responsible for the Mill Parameters (OER, KER, FFA, etc.).
• To Maximize efficiency and while minimizing cost for operation of the mill.
• To review and ensure safety measures are planned and practiced at the mill.
• To ensure all statutory requirements are adhered (MPON, DOE, DOSH).
• To ensure implementation and compliance QA/QC initiative.
• To diligently monitor the daily FFB grading.
• To obtain MSPO Certification for Mill.

Estate Management

• To Supervise Estate Manager to discharge duties diligently.
• To provide guidance on Estate Management (harvesting, maintenance, fertilizing, etc.).
• To manage the team through a team of supervisor & workers.
• To maximize the yield of the estate while minimizing cost.
• To ensure timely collection of payment.

Sales & Marketing

• To Ensure Sales & Marketing activities properly coordinated for all mill product that include - CPO, PK, FFB, Fibre, Compost, etc.
• To ensure timely collection of payment.
• To procure additional FFB from various sources - other Estates, trader - when necessary.

Transport & Logistics

• To coordinate with the Transportation Division to schedule the FFB reception for the smooth operation of the mill.
• To liaison with the Transportation Division for the additional FFB from various sources - other Estates, Trader - if needed extra FFB.
• To monitor and coordinate the delivering all mill products that include - CPO, Fibre, Compost, etc. - to avoid excess product at the mill.

Finance & Account

• To be responsible for the Company's overall financial performance (Company Profitability, Cash Flow).
• To ensure Financial SOP is observed & follow through (procurement, goods delivery & payment).
• To complete monthly, Quarterly and half-yearly Reporting.

Human Resources & Admin

• To assure sufficient manpower to support operations.
• To look after staff welfare at all time.
• To provide career development opportunities for staff.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualification Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
• At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the Palm Oil Mill Industry is required for this position.
• At least Steam Engineer grade 2. (Steam Engineer Grade 1 is added advantage).
• Applicants must be willing to work any where.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Palm Oil Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
