Vocabulary: the set of words known and understood, which expands with regular reading.
Divergent Thinking: the ability to think creatively and from multiple perspectives, which is nurtured by reading various genres.
Focus: the ability to direct one’s attention towards a single subject, sharpened by regular reading practice.
Reflection: thinking back on what has been read to deepen understanding and make connections.
Critical Thinking: the skill of analyzing and evaluating information, often honed through reading complex or challenging texts.
